11 smallish projectors

Hi all,I need to get my hands on 11 small-ish projectors.2000 lumen, widish lens, HDMI input.They will be used separately from each other so do not need to match.

It's for a student online collaborative project.

Anybody got any ideas where to start looking. Not the usual AV suppliers will have that sort of thing but happy to be corrected.

London based but think there will be couriering involved anyway so location not a massive issue. (within reason).

Well I was thinking hire or loan unless they’re really cheap or there is the potential to re-sell them after without too much loss.

Probably only a couple of weeks. Maybe less.

And probably in the next couple of weeks.

I’d suggest trying a couple of corporate AV rental companies. Their kit has likely been sat on the shelves for 10months, so something for 11 projectors for a couple of weeks would be quite appealing.

I saw something like this being used by an art student, I was amazed by it's price and built in media player

You could sell them on at the end of a project - it would cost you a grand but worth considering.You could buy one as a trial, and if ok buy and have the projectors delivered straight from Amazon.If not, return the test package.

Hire cost plus £10(?) per projector delivered to each person will add up

Pete McCrea has the answer. I once bought a Benq under half price used for one weekend only on a conference for which they had bought a dozen. There must be plenty gathering dust all over the UK.

Maybe reach out to your local Uni? Their AV department probably have a load in their loan pool, or in an old store room waiting to be WEE'd.... And if it's for education you might find they're happy to help?
