My school doesn't have its own space, we use the Town Hall, however the equipment installed in the Town Hall is part owned by the school, and part by a local Am-Dram society based in the Hall.

However, there are orders on the way for a smoke machine and a couple of strobes. (Thank goodness for a student tech team that can fundraise, and a music department - we don't have a drama department, so all theatre stuff goes through music - that know and trust us both in and out of school)

 

 

A lot of the equipment we use is old and not the greatest in the world, but I think we do a damn good job with it, as someone else said, it isn't what you have; it's what you do with it!

That video was actually taken in one of our other venues, the music venue, the tech courses dont do much in there, its the music tech courses that op. those show

Good stuff, someone else who no doubt finds it stupidly fun to manicly push faders between three cues that really are far too close together!! (A.K.A using a preset desk for most things that are slightly more complicated than An Inspector Calls)

 

Are your tempus racks 5A or 15A? Our one Tempus is on 5A, and everything else is running 15A...makes for fun patching when you can't soft-patch though!
