  1. Without looking at the underside there might be the option for one of the universal brackets.
  2. You spured me to try them out as we are starting to get some more damage on the ends. Of course our cables are moulded not made, they only work with cable to connection, no cable restraint.
  3. Depending on budget you could ethercon and then have one of the adapters and patch that to your device. I have something at work I got at LSI a few years ago that are adapters but for rj45 rather than ethercon, Similar to d0me5tic link barrels.
  4. If you can its worth investing in some NEC tape for holding it dow on the underside also.
  5. http://www.citytheatrical.com/Products/cable-hooks?dept=f08878d4-186a-43b5-9499-62116fce6480 https://www.thomann.de/gb/eurolite_tch_50_28_double_cable_clamp.htm All options, Or as others said . old bonds.
  6. Didn't someone post on here a while back with a bar clamp/hook thingumabob that does just that?? Rings a bell. or something like a sky hook. I'm sure I have seen a layered sky hook with the intention of Mains, DMX, data/video.
  7. To be honest I would worry about the pressure behind a bulb. We used to do a film set up at college with a plant sprayer, it worked pretty well and had a good effect, the issue was it was more of a gunshot than a squirt but I think with regulation and better work, it would work.
  8. There were some that had DMX on a 6.35mm jack too. Surprisingly some of the Astera wireless transmitters take their DMX in via a 3.5mm jack, which is very annoying when someone loses the adapter! I think they all do Still not exactly sure why its formed as a belt pack.
  9. AC usually have some good prices. I had issues with buying, what is the reason, bigger reasons? It Might be worth exploring the idea of a card. We were given credit cards with limits to buy, but it allowed us some flex when needed.
  10. 100% on calling up JEM direct, their support has been great in the past. Last time However I had to go through our rep which was a pain, but that might be different for UK based clients.
  11. +1 for acre jean and +1 for the foil and spray bottle on windows Are you doing a blackout blackout ? Having done a show in a 100% black out (the kind where you could be in a cave as your eyes cannot see light ever) light soapy water sprayed on windows, then foil. THEN small dabs of tape where you see light. THEN drapes. Tape on a window will be horrible to remove if its in the sun even in winter. And could easily start to fall off in the winter with condensation. If you are doing a full black out it took 4 people 2 days to do a room. The issue if it is full blackout is light appears from the strangest places.
  12. To be honest every internal of a martin machine I have seen uses the same pump and one of 3 heat blocks.
  13. +1 for the zr44 or I think it is not the zr45 We have a client who uses them for smoke testing drains, they run them pretty hard.
  14. http://pixilab.se/ is what we use. 100 units is not something we have done but I am sure it is enough with the right network. Basically it's a webpage that displays content, it can be timed to show what you want when you want, and include other things like voting etc if you wanted.
  15. I recall years ago a children's theater show someone using this setup for a minidisk player set just off stage with no issues. They had backup stomp boxes hidden in the stage to fire if it stopped working but by all accounts they never had an issue. I think the lag might be an issue if your going for special flashes etc but I couldn't say.

    Acoustic screens...

Like office deviders ? Schools / Colleges might have some floating around in that case.
  17. I am not 100% on it, but I THINK this is a service AC have started up.
  18. https://astera-led.com/ax3/ + ART7 + Dome filter. I even have 70cm cubes I may demo for a client next week if you want a photo.
  19. Depending on quantity I have not had issues with magtape from lemark, they have resellers locally I expect. However I have found it cheaper to purchase from AC and ship and still be less.
  20. IMHO thats 100% the crew boss. If someone booked 20 guys over 4 full days over 2 sites and each day its the same guys, Knowing full well no one is paying for hotels / transport etc then its your responsability to say "I dont have the guys who can do that" or "sure I have the guys but we need accomidation". Easier said than done. As JSB says its about rep, and if you say no to crew, you will loose out on jobs, and your guys have no work. Its a cycle.
  21. You would think that. It's a whole other range for sure but the rush mh4 and mh6 omegas are different, not lots. Literly a few mm, not really seen, until a crew guys tries to put a mh6 omega on a mh4 unit, gets it on but makes it almost impossible to take off again.
  22. For setting up devices a MDM might be a way to go. Apple do have their own one, especially as if the company have an apple account you can have the devices setup out of the box at purchase when you get new ones, various constrains apply.
  23. What do you want out of it ? We have a rental system, but for anything like laptops, ipads, android devices, we have the rental system and then have a MDM over them to control them. We can track them if needed, we can push profiles (like lock down or single app use) change various settings etc, so long as connected to the internet. The best thing is that when we get a device back we factory reset it, reset it up and it looks brand new, we dont know what a client did with the device, and any data is removed. if they want to use the device like a device they can log in with their info and it looks like "their" device. It costs quite a bit to get running but does open the option of locking devices, or making set devices for shows. The annoying thing is that each "brand" has their own MDM so airwatch combines them all. They all have their own good and bad sides.
