david.elsbury
What about a set of these with a cat5 thru the wall? http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/1Pair-4k-HD-1080P-3D-HDMI-Extender-Over-RJ45-Cat-5e-6-Network-Ethernet-Adapter-/142005120091?hash=item21102a2c5b%3Ag%3AsbwAAOSwEzxYbKDJ&_trkparms=pageci%253A4275a946-2b1e-11e7-b9d0-74dbd180a912%257Cparentrq%253Aae64531915b0ab1d8547324ffffff8b8%257Ciid%253A1
paulears
I've got a cat6 to run anyway - so I suppose it could be ok - might be an option. Leave it here guys till I see how big a hole I can create.
MarkPAman
Know any plumbers / gas fitters? They will have the tools for running 22mm & 25mm pipes. The going rate for borrowing a long bit round here is usually a pint of beer!

paulears
The lidl solution was excellent. Holes drilled. The biggest one did the trick and the existing cables went through with just corners trimmed off. Thanks everyone for the offers of loans and stuff. Cost me £11 and they had selection boxes of heatshrink too!
Simon Lewis
As an aside, a colleague started working for an AV company and was assigned a job installing security cameras at a dental surgery.Apparently there were some pretty worried looks on some patients faces as he walked through the waiting room with a 1 metre long 12mm drill fixed to his DeWalt... Joe Fernand
We have had to repair a few damaged HDMI cables - its is time consuming (no standard colour coding) and can be a intermittent once the repair is made - a larger hole is the best option. The Celerity Fibre cable hava a Micro HDMI on both ends - you then connect up a USB powered dongle at both ends of the cable, we have supplied/installed a fair few of them.
