  1. Did this at work recently and used large plastic cable glands.
  2. Couldnt you use a pallet truck?
  3. The Achats appear to be using Speakons now. https://www.thomann.de/gb/the_box_pro_achat_104.htm

I would be enclined to use the active sub fromn the Turbosound IP2000. https://www.thomann.de/gb/turbosound_ip12b.htm And pair it with the IP300 top. I think the larger woofers over the line array would create a fuller sound in the midrange. https://www.thomann.de/gb/turbosound_ip300.htm The same app control is still available and the savings over the IP2000 system should cover a decent set of padded cases, a mountng pole and necessary cables.
  5. Ooh, good to see Dave doing well. :D
  6. Its considerably cheaper here. But you have to buy a case. https://www.shandhigson.co.uk/scapa-cloth-tapes/644-matt-finish-cloth-tape-scapa-3130.html#/size-black_50mm_x_50m/size-black_50mm_x_50m
  7. The HH Audio "Rock Pack is a decent active system. A pair of the subs can be left off (replaced with lift poles)if something smaller is required. For £5K its a decent system with a few options https://www.thomann.de/gb/hk_audio_linear_5_rock_pack.htm
  8. I wouldnt touch the Bishopsound speakers with a very long barge pole. THe demo system they lent to Glastonbury started failing on the first day and had to be replaced by day two.
  9. Interesting discussion on another forum. https://forum.speakerplans.com/so--glastonbury--the-big-question_topic103934_post1031200.html#1031200
  10. I am unsure about the haemostatic dressings. The chemicals they use can cause deep burns. Although in a "life and death" situation, that might be a secondary consequence. Take a look at the Israeli Trauma dressings. They incorporate a very large padded dressing and an elasticated bandage that can also be used as a tourniquet. They are quick and easy to apply and have no adverse side effects.
  11. I must admit, I wouldn't fancy someone blowing a trumpet a couple of feet away from my lug holes. Yet, I am usually happy to stand in front of a couple of a stacks of F1, which although loud, are often at a more constant level.
