Magic Arms

In short, no!

I own a few magic arms and they get a lot of use, particularly fastening radio mic receiver aerials to obscure parts of theatres.

I own a few of the miniature chinese copies too and they're not terrible, though clearly nowhere near as strong as a proper one. I use a pair for my smaller 2.4Ghz paddles and they behave pretty well. Also got a couple for my action cameras that I use for producing time-lapse movies.

The cheapest place I could find last time I bought some was Thomann.

Somebody out there does make a cheaper variant of the Super Clamp that's pretty much identical, but I'm damned if I can remember who, or where I saw it. Thomann or CPC probably.

What are you trying to fix to what?

The usual. This oddly shaped object to that weirdly shaped bit of structure.

I thought that might be the case. Thanks.
