Dave m
Car trimmers/ people who make boat and trailer covers might be a good start? Not sure if there are people who specialise in slip over type covers for guitar amps, or cabs, as the market would be smaller
bruce
I’ve had a few covers and cases made up by http://www.roqsolid.co.uk/ and am happy with the results. They can do several types of material - ranging from a simple “dust cover”, to a woven waterproof fabric with felt lining, to foam-lined. Don’t know whether they would do something using your own fabric, but its probably worth giving them a call.
Dave m
I did a quick google for AV equipment covers and it lead me to a company that seems to make one offs and batches. They do seem to use cnc fabric cutters so I doubt they'd use your own fabric

S&L
these are apparently very sturdy and may fit your requirement, depending on what that is...http://www.thomann.de/gb/decksaver_dsp_pc_qu24.htm
sam.spoons
I'm curious what you'll use it for (assuming you mean a flat cover for when the desk is unused? "Tent Valeting Services" in Farnworth Manchester can make most things of this ilk and are very helpful. They do a very sturdy PVC fabric that I'm about to ask them to make a trailer cover out of, not breathable mind you but they do a range of tent fabric so they may well be worth a call. http://www.tentvaletingservices.co.uk
