DaveBennett
Well here it goes... Sound2 x Mackie C300Z1 x Behringer EP25002 x THE BOX PA302 A (Great speakers for the money!)1 x 8 Channel Spirit Folio1 x Small 4 Channel Behringer Desk3 x Behringer Microphones (cant remember the model!s)1 x SM58Also have a Numark 200 (or something like that) and a DAC2/PCDJ for DJing. Sound wise, I'd like to get some more microphones, a new mixing desk and some outboard gear in the near future. Lighting4 x MAD Q Scans2 x PAR 642 x LED Par 652 x Acme Pumas1 x Starville HL401 x Starville DMX Master1 x USB/DMX Dongle, Entec I think. Lighting wise, I'ld like to sell a few bits (PAR 64s, Pumas, DMX Master etc) and replace them with LED Pars and LED bars, great effects imo. Would also like to add some movers in there at some point. Got a handful of laptops and computers, Acer 5610, Packard Bell (fairly old) which runs Freestyler & Asus EEEPC. Got access to various bits of "high-end" gear from various channels but wont bore you with that as its not mine! Dave EDIT: Oh, and Im 16.

gareth
Can't ever go wrong with tools!Apart from the wingnut spanner! If a wingnut (or wingbolt) was supposed to be tightened with the aid of a tool, it wouldn't have wings! It would be an ordinary hex nut or bolt. If a fastener has wings so that it can be tightened by hand, that's as tight as it's supposed to go!

cedd
Josh. you've already listed once! That's being greedy! I'd be far more interested to see a list of equipment followed by the title of the student job you have! I swear I never had that much money when I was young (was going to say younger, but I'm feeling old today!). I work 39 hours a week and still can't afford any of the kit I'd like, and I still live at home with my parents. 21 years oldMy kit; My Van (Herbert - VW transporter 88special)Allen & Heath GL2400Soundcraft Folio SXMackie SA1521 x 2Electrovoice SXA100+ x 2Mackie SRM350 x 245m 16x4 multicore45m 8x4 multicoreSamson Scom4 compressorTC electronic multieffectTC Helicon VoiceworksBehringer Loudspeaker managementSM58 x 3SM57 x 3SE1a x 2C1 x 2Crown PCC-160 x 2mic stands x lotsXLR cabling x 2km16A cabling x 250m JTS UHF beltpack x 2JTS UHF handheld x 1Senheiser SK2012 VHF beltpack x 6CPC special headworn mics x 10db technologies In Ear Monitors x 1 All the other bits and pieces I can never remember - DI's, non branded mics, aerials, cd player, dj mixer, Home built comms system - 6 x beltpacks, 1 x master station.Home built Cue light system - 5 x outstation, 1 x master station. If a fastener has wings so that it can be tightened by hand, that's as tight as it's supposed to go! Matter of opinion really, comes in handy when outrigging / over rigging lanterns, or locking off stuff attached to a clamp with a wing nut. If I'm at work and we're doing specials for a band or something, then I wouldn't bother using it, on a 6 week run when you really don't want things to move then I think it's justified. You see wing nuts in a lot of places that should really have a bolt as well, and if it's gotta to be done up tight then it's gotta to be done up type. Anyway, the point of my list is, it's great to own four million pounds worth of sound kit, but ultimately I've used my quad spanner more often than anything else... Happy Jack
I'd be far more interested to see a list of equipment followed by the title of the student job you have! I swear I never had that much money when I was young...It really is quite amazing!...and yes, I am bitterly jealous. I was going to reel off a few choice bits of mine, but... Forgot to add. I can also hire in most of the stuff I don't have from a great local hire company....I'm going to roll with this logic. Equipment A stadium-sized V-Dosc rig. There. Do I win a prize?
