Davyx
Hi, A friend gave me an old CO2 hazer that he had under the dust for 10 years. After opening it, removing all parts one by one to clean them and putting them back, it works very well. I can get a thin haze, which stay quite a long time. Just because I'm curious, I would like to know who has manufactured it. Does anyone knows which brand and model it could be? There is no plate, no sticker, nothing at all which could help. Here are some pictures:http://www.kolumbus.fi/david/Lights/DSC01997.JPGhttp://www.kolumbus.fi/david/Lights/DSC01998.JPG

Davyx
The guy who gave it to me doesn't remember from where it came from, but I have noticed one thing. I'm in Finland and here we are using metric screws, like most of them on this machine. But on the fluide tank, it's imperial screws, which is not very common here. So I was thinking that it can come from UK or from the States (or maybe Canada), I don't know!
niclights
Really does look home made.
Brian
Any chance of a picture of the inside? Particularly the heat exchanger.
J Pearce
Is the gas pressure knob labelled AGA not a gas regulator from an AGA oven?
Davyx
Is the gas pressure knob labelled AGA not a gas regulator from an AGA oven?AGA is a gas supplier! I have some pictures of inside! So here is the heater with 4 resistors and the temperature sensor:http://www.kolumbus.fi/david/Lights/DSC01909.JPG We can see here the heater with the fluid tank. The fast connectors are made to fill it. Not so practicle system!http://www.kolumbus.fi/david/Lights/DSC01910.JPG Here is the heater completely naked:http://www.kolumbus.fi/david/Lights/DSC01979.JPG

Wuddy
Am I correct in thinking that AGA is the Swedish/Nordic equivalent of BOC in the UK? Did you supply and fit the regulator? If not, it might suggest that the unit originates from your part of the world.
Davyx
AGA belong to Linde gas, as well as BOC (Linde). The small gas cylinder is from AGA, so that's why I think the regulator is also from them. But if this machine has been home-made, it's well done! johnhuson
[May not be home made in that it was made in someones shed, but it's certainly something that's not been mass produced.
AndyJones
I'm thinking that it has not been hand made, but instead made by a profeshional company as a one off maybe for a special to go in a bit of set.
