My guess is that if you try cutting guitar or piano wire with a Leatherman you'd trash that too.

dont know about piano wire but it does guitar wire without a problem

funny what I've found down the back of that sofa... and depressing when I missed having the leatherman all those times recently.

I broke mine when I accidentaly groped a sheet of 3' x 2' 5mm mild steel on it.

 

I was trying to use it properly though :blink:

if using the knife on a leatherman to cut is not usin it properly I must go and find the instructions... :blink:

Well, it was a hunk of ---- anyway. SHould get a lovely new 50th anniversary leatherman for christmas. If you're looking for some decent tools on the sly, definately check out Ebay- or Army Surplus stores.

My Wave's small screwdriver blade snapped at the corner - so I sent it off and within 2 days - a brand new wave was waiting for me when I got home! Nice

I have had a slight problem with the small flat bit on my super tool. It can get bent and twisted very easily. What is it meant to be an electrical screwdriver or a bradle?
