henny Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 does any one have or knows of where I can get hold of an electronic copy of the pearl tablet overlay sheet? pdf or whatever thanksian
henny Posted September 18, 2007 Author Posted September 18, 2007 Have you tried going to AVO directly? yes and no they dont
david.elsbury Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Well. after I googled for "Avolites Tablet Overay" I got a copy of a Pearl 2004 manual, which quite clearly states that "Extra overlays are available from Avolites". So I suggest you go back there, and tell them to stop running you around!
niclights Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 No doubt worth being more persistent but I'm not so sure they're available anymore. Tablet was discontinued some time ago & I now see all references (inc. spare overlays) have been removed from AC price list.
boatman Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 So, it sounds like a job for a digital camera/photocopier and a laminator. Who knows you might even capture the market. John
andylights Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Funny, I checked the Ac's Avo price list the other night and found them missing (which I assumed meant they are no longer avaialble).... @Ian - if you have any luck PM me and will do the same ! I will also (now) try some other contacts. Andy
henny Posted September 19, 2007 Author Posted September 19, 2007 after e-mailing avo they dont have a digital copy , only there printers have the printing film they use to do do print runs. what I was after was a digital copy that I can mark up on pc, put in atchulal gobos, colours, neat text lables ect for the basic fixed rig. but it looks like ill just have to do a number of scans and peice it together in photoshop. ian
niclights Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Why don't you use something like Corel Draw and experiment to get accurate positions then print onto (A3) acetate? This is something I've successfully done for Pearl rollers although never actually used. Obviously the colour mixing part will be the hardest bit.
avdavesound Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I have an overlay unmarked and its my last one I'll try and get it copied or scanned and send it on
henny Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 just to note it will not quite fit on A3 (297 × 420) your need A3+ (305 × 457) ian
