Powered install speaker

I've used the EV ZX-A1 - in white - for quite a few small room installs, and I like them a lot. But I've got an install coming up which is a bit more budget conscious. Anything around which is near the same performance, also in white, but closer to £250 than £450 each? I have used the LD systems SAT-62A, but they are a little too small for the job. I've never used the SAT-82A, so don't know how much extra you get for the extra 2"! I'm not that bothered whether they are passive or powered - and they could be other than white if they were suitable for painting. Any good ideas?

Ecler Arqis 108's? Passive box, not too bad (I prefer EV but budget usually outweighs me), comes with install kit so savings to be made there too.

Apart have some quite cost effective boxes, which seem to be installed by several firms around here...

Having had a cheap pair of powered speakers of which one amp failed in weeks (overheated to destruction) I'd be keen NOT to have an amplifier "up in the roof".

Depending on the size of room and what your pushing through the system the Apart OVO8P Speakers are very good. The list price is £188 each + the usual VAT
