bruce
Looking at a SMH210 headset from a tecpro comms system, which has a faulty mic. Appears to be open circuit. Canford of course sell spares, but at 35 pounds, plus 8 postage, plus VAT, it’s a lot of money for what is just a very basic dynamic mic capsule. CPC do a MP33261 at 3 quid, which looks similar spec, but slightly larger at 23mmx11.5mm - the original one is about 21x9 Does anyone know of a source for a small - maybe pcb-mount - dynamcic mic capsule? Currently considering breaking open a pound shop karaoke mic..... :)

bruce
Another option might be to butcher one of these: http://cpc.farnell.com/pro-signal/psg08241/stereo-headphonesmicrophone/dp/AV12752
