sclg
Anyone know of a simple (1 in, 1 out) USB midi interface that will work with Windows 10? My elderly Edirol UM-1SX won't. I tried the W8.1 drivers but they won't install. Nothing newer available on the Roland site. ThanksSteve
david.elsbury
Maybe it's time to roll back to an earlier version of windows and let someone else else be the guinea pig ? ;)
Bobbsy
Yeah. Audio interface drivers are a huge reason I never rush to an OS "upgrade". It can take months until the manufacturers update their drivers and, until then, it's luck of the draw whether the old ones work or not. I've heard quite a few audio horror stories even on devices using the Windows MME drivers rather than bespoke ones so I'm pretty sure there have been some significant changes in Win10. timsabre
Have you tried W7 or vista drivers? I've found that these sometimes work with W10 where W8 drivers don't (not specifically for your hardware, but I have some weird and wonderful USB devices I am trying to connect)
laseranger
Have just installed this on my W10 Laptop and it is running fine driving into another unit on a Arkaos media server M-Audio Midisport USB MIDI interface using the latest downloaded drivers.
