sam.spoons Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 +1 HPF is only really needed on miked sources, it removes the 'stage rumble' and wind noise etc from them. Obviously don't use it on kick drums or bass guitar cab mics but pretty much everything else can be HPF'd at 100Hz or higher. Anything DI'd doesn't need an HPF.
