torch1972
I need to limit the sound level of music being played in one of the bars in the theatre. The bar plays music from I-tunes on a mac mini into a stereo speaker system. All the music has been downloaded to the Mac but their levels not the same levels. Some songs play quietly and some play loudly, so the bar staff then start adjusting the sound desk and then we suddenly get a very loud track. Is there an app or piece of software I can install on the Mac Mini that will automatically adjust the music tracks so they play at the same level? Or this there another way to sort out this problem? the kid
Is there not a built in adjustment in itunes ? I am sure there is something.
pete10uk
I think there is a normalise music function in iTunes. There is a sound check function on an iPod or iphone which does the job.
Thomas1987
Yep, Itunes > Preferences > Playback tab > "Sound Check". Certainly on the latest version but sure its been around for years.
