AndyJones
Hello guys, I'm after the same kind or rubber/foam that is used on the bottom of this socket (where the cables come in): http://www.judgeelectrical.co.uk/images/domestic-electrical/outdoors-socket-with-rcd.jpg It seems to be a specific type, does anyone know if it has a specific name that I can Google? It's being used on cables to stop water ingress. Thanks!
Yorkie
MK sell replacement seals for these as 56837 BLK which may or may not be relevant. They call the material gel and the way it's used is patented.
Simon Lewis
That specific "foam" is going to be a little difficult to source, but in general terms it is a neoprene based material. If you Google for waterproof neoprene gasketing foam you should find something similar...
Pete McCrea
There was a post on here recently that linked to a company that supplied neoprene window and caravan window seals. Be stuffed if I can remember where it was though.
