Shaun Foster
My PC has two monitors: Sad technician thing: Real work on 17", E-mail, MSN and Blueroom on 15". I know some programs need 2 monitors but why use the 15" for e-mail and blue room?
Stu
Well it means you can have extra windows up and visible all the time without them clogging up the main screen etc. For instance in the past I've used a 14" 2nd monitor for DVD or TV while I've worked on my main 17"... Can be easier some times! Mind you I've got a 14" TV screen now as the monitor went a bit kabloomy! Stu
Bryson
I know some programs need 2 monitors but why use the 15" for e-mail and blue room? Because I can? Seriously, it's because I need to drag info from e-mails or internet to Exel or Word quite often. Plus, it's a laptop - 15" on the LCD, plus a 17" CRT. If you have a laptop - try it. It's soooo useful.
NickLee
It's bloody essential if you're photoshopping. I used to work with Photoshop on a system with a pair of 19" Trinitrons. Not been on anything as good since then.mmm :D N

I can agree with that, 2x 17" + 1x14" at home, absolutly brilliant, :D then I go to work - sit at my desk all day and get frustrated with just 1x17" :o
