alex_hughes
** laughs out loud **, really??? It keeps drying into this substance like a barbecue lighter; I got it to work yesterday but it seems it can only be out in the open air for about 25-30 mins, and I want to know if anyone has any tricks to keep it from doing this. Thought about using cling film but didn't want to... suggestions?

Jivemaster
Ask the supplier! Gels are peculiar things, add the wrong substance and the gel can liquify or solidify beyond use. Dont apply them to absorbant materials or te base material may well be primed to burst into undesired flame.
Bryson
Well, I'm not familiar with the exact product, but if it's flammable that probably because it has some kind of volatile substance in that is sublimating in air. You need to keep it in a sealed container. I wouldn't be adding anything to it chemically!
