gareth
(I'm on holiday....mmm....nice weather....to Wales! :( )Ahh, God's own country! And the weather's lovely. (Well, actually, it's a little cloudy at this very moment, but generally speaking it's the best it's been for a while.) Which bit of this lovely land of ours are you visiting? gareth
How long has Chester been part of Wales? How dare you!! Find Chester on the map ... go about 5 miles to the south-east ... and you'll find the village of Kinnerton, in WALES! But unfortunately we're lumbered with a Chester phone no. and postal address :( And when someone asks where I live, it's a lot easier to say Chester (most people know where that is) than to say Higher Kinnerton ("errr ... where?"). We moved back home from Cambridge at the end of 2001, and I was determined to find a house to buy in Wales ... couldn't bear the thought of buying another one in England ... I managed it by about a mile! :(

Bryson
Wales was lovely, by the way. I think the weather may have helped, but we went down to Cardiff Bay, went on a little boat trip round the bay and sampled the fine resteraunts and bars there. What with all the menus being half written in Martian, it really did feel like another country. Cunningly (read: Accidentally) I managed to book my train home for just before the Arsenal match finished, so was spared the football lunatics. Recommended. That reminds me - During my finals in Glasgow, I was entitled to demand a horn of mead from the invigilator, provided I was in full Scottish National Dress (sadly this remained untested by me).
