Someone looking for info about the desk - I never knew they built such a thing - I've never come across one. Luckily my friend has taken onboard my ramblings about The Historic Stage Lighting Collective & suggested it might make a nice donation (except now - someone will say "Owh - we've got 4 already!!").

Am I thinking something slightly like the "Masterpiece" controller which had a touch-capacitive control surface made out of PCB? I never used one but saw other people doing so (it was sometimes known as the "disasterpiece" to those who didn't know how to program it!).

Sometimes called Disasterpieces by those of us who know how to program them and still use them. That Light Processor desk looks wonderfully retro with that matrix display.

The Rondo in Bath was one of my favourite spaces but quirky wasn't the word. They had a small touch capacitive board and the route backstage from the control box was over the top of the roof, not good in the rain. I never got the hang of that board. Dry fingers or summat but luckily it was as rare as rocking horse even back then..
