Mackie SRM450

Hi guys.

 

Just checking some kit out before it goes out on a job and a Mackie SRM450v1 powered speaker is blowing it's internal fuse.

Checked the transformer and it tests as if it has short circuit primary. Mackie say no longer available. I've tried internet trawl and my usual goto's for toroids but to no avail, even A&J aren't replying to emails.

Anyone have any ideas for source of a 60-30-0-30-60V 200 to 250VA toroid?

If needs must I'll do the god forsaken task of rewinding it by hand but only if I really need to.

Thanks, thats probably a go for. but £165 for a 200VA toroid...😬😬

I would be looking for a 50% trade discount. Still expensive but more realistic.

Yes I'm hoping to do something on that and planning to phone in the morning.
