Stage fire at Pinewood studios

There has been a 12 appliance fire at Pinewood studios, they had a thached house and that went up as well...

It never ceases to amaze (and concern) me that when things like this happen, rather than follow the properly establish evac procedures, otherwise sensible people think to themselves "I know - I'll stay in this place that's filling with smoke and flame because it would be a good idea to film it...."

I think they are outside a scene dock door or something. Still, you would think moving to a safe distance might be wise.

Surely, 12 appliances = major incident and security should have got everyone totally away - possibly even a site wide evac, depending on the reality and location. Having people that close and videoing is something that really should have been sorted.
