Playing wav files with movies

I have the macbook air i7 so pretty decent, I want to play the wav audio files and movies projected back stage to accompany them. What tech is out there to do this, minimal equipment the better, I would like a durable projection screen or something, could anyone advise? I'm using LOGIC PRO X for output of both wav and video and my video output is a thunderbolt socket. Edited May 21, 2021 by gsc1ugs

You’ll need to give us more information. What size rooms are you going into? It’s like saying you want to buy a vehicle without telling us if it’s to carry one person, or 100 horses inside. Different tools for the job

You'll need a dongle to convert from Thunderbolt to HDMI. (MiniDisplayPort to HDMI will also work, it's the same connector)

 

What projector and screen you use depends on quite a few factors. What size do you think you'll need, how bright is the room, and what sort of distance do you have available for the projector throw?

(I've found the Belkin ones to be the most reliable. It might not hurt to have a spare on hand if you're doing anything mission-critical with it though)

Ive got one off ebay as far as room size it varies, it doesnt need to be crystal clear, its just a visual add on for stage, ive heard the uktra short throw is good but not cheap
