Software control for Sony PTZ Camera

Just wanted to provide some closure to this topic:

 

Using the images above from Tony and a fair (lots) of trial and error, we managed to get the correct combination and pinout for the camera and usb->RS422 converter. All camera controls are working!

the OSD menu is fairly flaky to control, but I think we'll just try and buy a remote for those particular elements that don't need to be controlled mid service.

Hi Steve, I have been looking to connect our SRG 300H PTZ camera. I have also tried and failed to find any Visca over IP and came across this thread. So I'm thinking to go down the RS422 route. What software did you end up using? Ta Jon
