Tom
Can I run two of these speakers:https://www.studiospares.com/Headphones-and-Speakers/Installation-Speakers/Studiospares-Forte-BG208-Passive-Speaker_248621.htm- Impedance: 8 Ohms- Power rating: 100W RMS (200W Peak) From one side of this amp:https://m.thomann.de/gb/the_tamp_e400.htm2 x 120 W at 8 ohms (@ 1 kHz, THD <= 0.1%) Ok. The numbers suggest not but sometimes things aren’t as they seem. And what will happen if I try - will it just trip or am I likely to do damage? James
Assuming you are connecting the speakers in parallel rather than in series then the 8Ohm load will appear to be 4Ohm See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm%27s_law Looking at the spec of the amplifier 2 x 190 W at 4 ohms so ~95W into each 100W speaker which is reasonably well matched if you keep an eye on things This is of course slightly dependent on the type of content you are intending to use this for. Hope this helps. James.

Two 8 ohm speakers in parallel gives 4 ohms so running both speakers from one channel will be fine. However, why not just common the inputs and put one speaker on each output? Do you want to use the other channel for something else?
