Playhouse London seating plan

Can anyone in the know tell me for _certain_ if the seating for 'Fiddler on the Roof' will have an aisle down the centre of the stalls. A friend is booking a whole row and has certain requirements for aisle seats. Most of the plans on the web show a solid block but one shows an aisle (thrust stage?) which would provide two extra aisle seats per row. He has had no joy from the ticketing people so is not sure what to believe.

Thanks Dave

This website would seem to indicate no regular aisle. Is there any reason to think they would remove seats (= saleable capacity) for this show?

Yes, one of the booking sites (theatremonkey.com) has two contradictory plans on the same page. All the others show the standard plan, hence the question.

Fiddler does have a catwalk stage running through the auditorium.

And for future reference http://www.theatremonkey.com/PLAYHOUSEstalls.htm# that website goes in to every production in town and compiles a view rating for every show based on the actual scenery being used & the relative value of seats.

Thanks Tom. I'll pass that on

Mrs W and I saw Fiddler at the Playhouse last month. There is a 'catwalk' down from the stage running at an angle in to the auditorium. The seating is very cramped, and close to what you may think is a central aisle, especially in the first few rows. I'd contact the venue if your friend has any mobility issues, or needs plenty of space. Great show btw!
