I used the hallstage guide linked in DrV’s reply to renew the cable on our community hall curtains just before Christmas and the instructions worked a treat. I struggled to keep the tensioners compressed at first but found cable ties would hold them against the springs whilst feeding the cable on onto the drum. My first post - hope it helps!

Mrs W and I saw Fiddler at the Playhouse last month. There is a 'catwalk' down from the stage running at an angle in to the auditorium. The seating is very cramped, and close to what you may think is a central aisle, especially in the first few rows. I'd contact the venue if your friend has any mobility issues, or needs plenty of space. Great show btw!
