Jivemaster
I suspect that some venues will go 100% LED and need to install (bigger/more) heaters! 50KW of tungsten would make about 48KW of heat and a little light, so the heat rising would drive a nice quiet passive vent system. That much LED light will not keep audiences toasty if the vents stay open.
ImagineerTom
That’s already a problem we have in bigtops. Autumn / winter shows need an extra heater (about the size of a car) now compared to 10 years ago because the industry is basically 100% LED after 30 years of halogens garden lights
paulears
It's also a tricky thing with roll out dance floors, that usually softened and laid flat when warmed up by parcans. The visual thing - the often talked about 'warmth', is easily sortable with colour mixing of RGBWAUC (add more colours next month) and even the spot designs with a colour wheel so a pretty good warm range of colours, even if the white is always a bit cold.
