pete10uk
A Long shot I know but as I broke it I would like to fix it, It's now a matter of pride! I have a virtually brand new 65" Phillips screen which I broke the screen on! it had basically 10 hours use on it and I picked it up wrong and the screen broke! I Have stripped it down and the panel is a flimsy as hell so not surprised it broke. I can't find anywhere which sells them at this size for any brand! Is there anywhere anyone can suggest? The screen was £1000 so if I can get it done reasonably inside this cost I'd rather restore my pride and put it down to experience and hang it on the office wall. Stuart91
The panel is the vast majority of the value of the unit, all you've got without it is a sliver of casing, a power supply, and some electronics. Typically breaking the panel writes off the unit, we've had it happen a few times. One of the drawbacks with newer, slimmer models is that they are a bit less physically robust, which is usually not a problem if they are just getting lifted out of a cardboard box onto someone's sitting room wall. "Industrial" screens are a bit more heavy-duty, but far more expensive.

We purchased 15 2016/17 55" ones, they are horrible quality, I think we lost 2 after 1 job, and have about 5 left in total. The PM55 the half industurial are pretty good.
