J Pearce
In my amdram work I have come across quite a few of these old 30A connectors, mainly in schools. We never use them as we use our own distros straight off of the 3 phase supply. they only get used if we use the in house dimmers that are attached to them. Mars
Pat45's are doing approx. 100 euro's on the continent (in good / original condition), for decorative purposes naturally.Last christmas, I attached my own dimmed one to the ceiling for moody ambiance, and it kept the dishes warm as a bonus! The difficult thing of these things are the spares: one need the 437C-01 bulb (500W P28s with mirror) for decent output... doing approx. 45 euro's now!
