Nicktaylor
I have a number of the Visage RGBW pars which have been great. The buttons on a few are showing signs of wear and tear, ie not always making the circuit. Does anyone know where to source replacement switches or even the whole module? Brian
There's every chance they are a standard generic part costing pence from someone like Rapid. Post a photo of the PCB and we'll have a look.

timsabre
they are 12mm tact switches, best place to get them from seems to be ebay e.g.http://r.ebay.com/A8buQz Check the button/actuator length as there are lots of different varieties. I have struggled to find them with those round buttons from any of the "proper" suppliers. To get the old ones off the board, chop the body off by cutting through the legs with sharp sidecutters then pull the pins out one at a time. Otherwise the risk of damaging the board is high. alistermorton
Looks like a pretty standard and widely available push button switch such as this one. EDIT: Worth checking the dimensions before ordering.
bigclive
Very standard, here's the Rapid range of these switches:-Rapid tactile switches. The height you require is from the PCB to the top of the switch.
timsabre
Alister, they are not the standard 6x6mm type, they are a bigger size 12x12mm. Rapid do not sell them as far as I could find - I had to repair some last year and had to buy from ebay in the end.
bigclive
Ah, I didn't spot the scale. That is an unusual size.

Nicktaylor
Having ordered the wrong size from Rapid I have found a UK based eBay supplier. Hopefully with me tomorrow. I appreciate the help narrowing it down as a search though chaps!
