I've been asked about building a perspective room?

I guess the easiest way is to build what is effectively a square funnel, on it's side, and use lots of lines that are straight to fool the eye?The concept (afaik) is to create a space that looks bigger than it is yet fits in a smaller space.

Any ideas?
