Gwion Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Hi!Not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place...I'm working on a studio theatre christmas show where one scene has an 'explosion' where we want a polystyrene 'rock' to explode and pieces fly into the air. I thought of a simple system with a door opener (actuator) holding a piece of sprung ply down and with a charge, opening. Does anyone have any better (readily available) ideas to save me some R&D time? CheersGwion
sunray Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 I have tried a selection of ways to release the sprung flap with varying degrees of reliability, now I use a door lock as a the release mechanism.
