bruce Posted May 30, 2017 Share Posted May 30, 2017 If you can do linux, then OpenOB is worth a look https://jamesharrison.github.io/openob/ I set up a link using something like this, using a bootable USB image which could be plugged into a couple of old laptops. If I was using only windows, then I'd be looking at knocking together something using an icecast server (normally linux, but can be persuaded to run on windows), using something like "butt" at either end to encode, and your favourite media player to play out at the other end. Plenty of other options. And I'd be using a dedicated sound card rather than onboard mic - just to get a line level input and a more robust connection.
