Im just after a little more info on these if possible. Just wondering if they need a pod or holder and if they need a controller or can be activated by sending a power supply to them? I know a controller adds the increased safety factor but just wondering if they can be activated via abettery charge etc

Cheers

No, they hang from the igniter wire.

They are the same as all other pyro devices in terms of how they should be safely fired.

Note that if going the DIY route that your Premises Licence, whilst not stating it directly, will almost certainly require you to use proprietary firing equipment.

Thanks Tim. I had asked t-mec about their pods/controller but not heard anything back from ed in a while. Will see what he comes back with. I've got a week to try and get this sources/nailed down.
