alistermorton
Assuming you've risk assessed it for choking etc ... A mixture of bicarb, citric acid and sherbert/icing sugar might have the desired effect, it would foam in the talent's mouth and the sugar would make the foam a little more stable. But I'd be very careful with this.
Jivemaster
Toothpaste in a small concealed sponge? risk assess for peppermint or spearmint!

ojc123
I'd be very careful with bicarbonate of soda. It's quite a powerful laxative.
alistermorton
There's that risk assessment again ;-)
Jivemaster
One of the reasons for suggesting toothpaste (above) is that if you chose the right brand, the talent is fully familiar with having toothpaste in their mouth and fully understands the overall effect. Anyone who reacts badly to any toothpaste usually knows by the age of 15.
Andrew Edwards
Diet Coke and Mentos? To get the foam I would have thought some sort of surfactant would be required like SLS (found in anything foamy like shampoo and toothpaste). So add this into Alister's suggestion of Bicarb, Citric Acid and a fine sugar. I would expect the hardest part is the delivery. Empty pill capsules? Some experimentation would be required to determine how long they can be held in the mouth before the gelatin dissolves (vegetarian versions are available too). the kid
I made the mistake of a water soluiable vit c pill thinking it was chewable. I made quite a hasty exit of the car, that was pretty foamy.
Andrew Edwards
Ah, those completely useless 2000% RDA jobbies. Yep that'll work.
