Stuart91 Posted September 25, 2015 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Someone has asked me to provide some fittings that will light a wall mural. The mural is on the "gable end" of a tenement building, and there's a vacant lot in between. Essentially I'm looking for high output discharge (or maybe LED) fittings, with roughly 45 degree beam angle. I've searched a variety of catalogues and online options, but I'm not turning up anything at the moment. All the floodlights are 100 deg+, and everything described as a "spotlight" is far too weak. The fixtures would be permanently mounted outdoors, so will need to be weatherproof. I'm thinking I probably need to hit up a specialist supplier but not sure where to start - I usually try to steer clear of anything "architectural" but this one is worth pursuing, even if it is out of my usual comfort zone. Archi-Led might work, but I suspect we'd need quite a few of them to get enough intensity. Forgot to add in my original post, we only need white light - no colours required. Although I'd hope to get a reasonably pleasant colour temperature so the mural stands out against the yellowy sodium streetlights nearby. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
