foalsz
Looking to do an installation similar to the link below: I've tried thin Viole and Muslin and have tried a 7k lumen projection to no avail. Can someone point me in the right direction of materials to use?
jason5d
You are using too thick material and/or you have too much ambient light. I used to do 7 layers with a 3K projector back in the day at raves

AHYoung
what you need is Tutu material. Its a very open plastic guaze and holds an image fairly well. Its only a pound or two per m and generally available from the local fabric shop. Its available in a large number of colours including some trully horrific UV active pinks and oranges, but white gives a ddecent image and blackalso gives a decent if more subtle effect. check how flame retardant it is as it should self exttinquish, but not every fabric does this and being plastic, its hard to fireproof so worth getting something that meets the local regs .
