For those managing large events the latest guidance is available from the websites of the stagebuilders. Serious Stages, StageCo, Star Events, Acorn Event Structures, Arena Group, Capita, Momentum, Symphotech, The Event Safety Shop and the Production Services Association have all contributed to the guidance. Another of my pet subjects, fatigue, looks to be getting another airing. There was a seminar at IPM where a senior figure suggested that venues be held responsible for ensuring nobody on their sites ever worked more than a 14 hour shift again.
