topsy100
Hi all I have two polystyrene figures I want to paint shiny gold any ideas where I can get water based paint from? Thanks
Dave m
paint with PVA first? adding some emulsion assuming that it's not H&S but melting the figure that's the issue
mar
Rosco Off Broadway Gold paint is water based - and good stuff to work with too, really good coverage especially if over a black undercoat.
J Pearce
Depending on the finish on the polystyrene you may wish to coat it with jesmonite or even paper mâché or modrock first.Painting straight onto polystyrene rarely gives a good result, even if you have paint that will stick.
