Ynot
I find myself in need of a ZR12 DMX unit to prove whether the one on my machine is actually faulty, or whether there's something more simple causing the issue. My suspicion is that the unit IS faulty but it would be nice to prove it. Basically the fogger works fine on manual push of the red button, but doesn't want to react to a DMX signal, except that on a couple of occasions it's delivered smoke when the selected DMX channel is taken DOWN to zero, rather than when it's raised... Odd.

Ynot
It's not a pin2/3 swap job is it?Nope - because I a) tried that as a cover-all and b) it WAS working earlier in the day but then decided to stop... :(
