ojc123
I'm looking for a bit of help with a connector. It's my usual problem of not knowing what things are called. Is this the right type of connector for the Audio-Technica System 10?This is the transmitter. http://www.gearnuts.com/images/closeup/xl/1600-ATWT210_detail3.jpg You'd think CPC would show a picture of the connector. Thanks in advance.
revbobuk
AT do indeed use Hirose connectors. It's one of the connectors I most hate having to resolder! Proper fiddly little blighters they are.
sleah
Going a little OT.... isn't that similar to the connector used on two-way radios / CB radios and the like?

paulears
No those tend to be much larger, and come in 2,3,4,5 and 6 way versions.
Ynot
Aren't they called Lemo connectors?
paulears
The LEMOs as used on older Trantecs and some others are very nice connectors, but expensive - and the chassis connector is female, the pins are on the cable connector. The Hirose connectors are chubbier and not as long.http://www.micronic.co.uk/media/micronic/products/585/3OklnF72uv.jpg
