GR1
Quite sensible really. They are competing with some big and well resourced companies in the likes of Harman and Music Group.
chelgrian
Here's an interesting development with some intriguing possibilities that might emerge. Digico have always seemed to me to have 'ploughed their own furrow' when it comes to interface design, and the three companies do cover quite a wide range of user bases. Since Digico's MD is set to become group CEO despite what they are saying at the moment I expect this to eventually be the death of the iLive/GLD platform and the Calrec platform. Which is a shame as I really don't like the Digico platform. Although there is plenty that can be shared to cut costs before you consolidate the mixer platform down to a single one with different configurations for broadcast, theatre and other live work eventually the cost savings from doing so will not be able to be ignored.
