bitofagiggle
So I want to run my 1.4kW PA off a 2kW site generator but I'm worried about damaging electronics because it doesn't have an AWR. Do transformers capacitate the current at all to make it safer to use electronics on? I expect the answer is no, so moving on, will having a 0.5kW standing load create a more steady current to run electronics on? This is for a party btw, not paid work so no issues at the workplace. Just a guy who doesn't want to fry his gear.
