Chamsys magicQ release cue using a fade out

Hi There,

 

Is there a way to release a cue using a fade time in MagicQ? Or do I need to go to an other cue and have Chamsys use the fade times of this cue?

To release a playback over time, type in the fade time in seconds then hit RELEASE. There may be ways in which to set a release time in Cue Stack Macros too, but I can't remember it right now. Each stack also has a release time you can set in the options (default = 0)

 

If you want to lose a cue in the middle of a stack, then you aren't really releasing it (although you can set it to hold or release the contents), you are simply moving

through the stack using the fade times (tracking or not, YMMV etc).

 

There are different options about how cue contents release but not sure there is a time associated with it.

You can add a release time to a cue stack, in the cue stack window click on View Options and then on the Activate Release tab and you can set a release time in there.
