Second Tax Return

Hi All,

 

I am coming round to doing my second self assessment tax return.

 

Last year I did this online through the Government Gateway website and was sent a user ID but am confused as to whether I need to create a new account this year or if I still need to use the same account as last year?

I am assuming it will be the same account as last year? (which I cant remember the user ID or Password)

You are the same person so why would you need a different account?

 

Your ID and Password are important. Remember important information and back it up somewhere safe.

They will have sent you a blue business card sized sticker but you can enter the site and tick the "Doh, idiot, I forgot" boxes and get them re-sent by email.

I still have the small blue card so will crack on with getting it done.

I went through a phase of resetting my 'verified by visa' details with every single purchase I made. Most of the time I blamed the system as well, I had the password written down!!
