BEN TERRY Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 HiI am Looking For A lighting and sound company in the high wycombe are.Dose any one Know of any? Many thanks
kerry davies Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Be handy to know whether you are doing U2 or the Sid and Doris Bonkers Bavarian Beer Band?
J Pearce Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 When I was in Aylesbury my main companies were Drax Lighting in Dunstable and Impact Productions in Milton Keynes.
Pete McCrea Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 For lighting try Siyan. If you can make it to East Reading, then for sound I'd go to SFL for Sound hire.
jonathanhill Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 AC Lighting are sales only. For rock and roll, as posted, Siyan are based in High Wycombe. For more theatre based stuff, Henley Theatre Services, based in nearby Henley are a good bet. However, more specific posting will gain more specific answers.
Ken Coker Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 ...... or the Sid and Doris Bonkers Bavarian Beer Band? Are you stealing my gig again? KC
IRW Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 AC Lighting are sales only. Bah...that's what happens when I get up at 09:00 to spend three hours on the train on a Sunday. Sorry!
the kid Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Excuses excises :P I believe there is Martins lights in reading (posts on here occasionally with things on sale), never used ... yet.
Tom Lovick Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 For more theatre based stuff, Henley Theatre Services, based in nearby Henley are a good bet. Another vote for Henley Theatre Services.. They are however currently re-doing their website at the moment & have recently improved their audio and intelligent lighting stock.
vbm Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Excuses excises :P I believe there is Martins lights in reading (posts on here occasionally with things on sale), never used ... yet. Martin's Lights is indeed in Reading, and indeed does lighting hire as its main business, as well as sales. Thanks for the mention. Martin.
James Remo Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Considering the first 10 hits on google do not get a recommendation from anyone on here I'd suggest that personal recommendations are much better than just searching on the web service of choice. For my money Martin's lights then Siyan would be my ports of call
jono1 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Dry hire lighting, Siyan and AED are all based in HW so you are spoilt for choice. Jon
