george15
Hi All,The Concordia Theatre, in Hinckley (Leicestershire), is having an open day this Saturday (15th Sept 10am til late). The theatre will be open for the public to wander around, with no fixed tours so anyone can simply turn up!All technical areas will be open, with information about different departments available. This would probably be a good opportunity for anyone interested (including students) to look round a venue, and ask questions. The Concordia is a voluntary run venue. Various demonstrations and hands on "playing" with equipment will be on the cards, particularly in the lighting department. There's a Facebook event for the day: Facebook event (feel free to respond to it) Thanks,George (one of the lighting department at the Concordia) P.S: the Coventry Belgrade is doing backstage tours on the same day, so if you wanted you could make a day of it and do both!! Glyn Edwards
If coming in a Coventry type direction please be aware that we are only offering tours in the morning as we have a matinee and evening performance of our new musical. Depending on how Friday's preview goes the tour may concentrate on the B2 studio if we are up to our necks in notes.
