Tom Baldwin
Recently found this very long, but fascinating history of Pink Floyd from the perspective of their sound equipment:Part IPart IIPart IIIPart IV If anyone knows of a similarly in depth article on the evolution of their lighting, I'd love to read it. Hope this is of interest to you, Tom

bruce
I see that it mentions Charlie Watkins (of WEM fame...) Charlie is an incredible character. He's still designing and building amps, echo units, and various midi bits & bobs - but in a rather niche market - the accordion market! Now. Time for a confession. I am an accordion player. I have bought some of Charlie's midi gear. And he sends out a "newsletter" every few months, that usually contains bits of his life story. An amazing story....doing PA for the Stones, Cream, Hendrix... There's a (shortened) version on http://www.wemwatkins.co.uk/his.htm. read it - it's interesting.... the full version is better. But you've got to buy an accordion to get that newsletter :) Bruce.
